There is a certain type of discussion that I just love. I can feel it feeding my soul. I thrive on it. And that is the type of conversation I am facilitating here on Blog Midrash.
Think of BMid as the modern beit midrash. A beit midrash is the study hall where Jews go to learn, discuss and argue about Torah and being Jewish. Blog Midrash is your place to share your thoughts about your Jewishness with Jews from around the world.
Just so you know, I will not allow nastiness here. I expect people to be nice, kind, respectful and honest. Please contact me if there is any problem.

P.S. Sadly, one thing we will be missing here is the wild beit midrash body language. I guess that when you try to generate discussion internationally, you can’t have it all.
