Aharon, in a comment on my #7 in this countdown, brought up an amazing thing to love about being Jewish and I love it enough that it’s my number six in my countdown.
We are supposed to be part of this world, not remove ourselves. The point is to raise up the mundane and make it sacred and special. What a beautiful part of Judaism.
